Gianpaolo Colombo – Profile

Energetic and artistic, Gianpaolo Colombo found himself entirely in his element at a very young age. He was born into a family of hairstylists, hence, was destined for it.

Gianpaolo began working at his father’s salon, HairAfter, in Toronto in 1996. Since then his career has flourished, as he is now the award winning Artistic Director. Gianpaolo travels all over North America and Europe in search of inspiration for what he lover most…hair. As a master of his craft, he keeps up with the latest techniques and hair trends. He is constantly developing and refining his talent and he takes precision cutting to another level with his distinctive techniques. He is known for his contemporary classic style and his avant-garde designs.

Gianpaolo is building a name for himself in the beauty industry. He has become a regular on the competition circuit, and at such a young age has already won and qualified for countless awards, including; Texture, Classic & Transformation Artist of the Year at the Mirror Awards (2011). Winner of two consecutive Contessa & Mirror Awards for Ontario Hair Stylist of the Year (2010, 2011). He was also a three time finalist for the North American Hair Awards for New Talent, Contemporary Classic and Salon Team of the Year (2006,2009,2010).
